In addition to supporting standard Wi-Fi connectivity and Tuya app push notifications, the CP4 control panel features a built-in 4G module that accepts standard SIM cards (supporting voice calls and text messages). Should the home or office network fail, the control panel automatically switches to the 4G network and sends text messages containing zone locations to up to five pre-set numbers; simultaneously, it dials the numbers sequentially to play customised voice alerts (e.g., “Front door opened abnormally”). Users can also remotely arm or disarm the system by sending specific command SMS messages (such as “away arm” or “disarm”), with the control panel replying via SMS to confirm the action taken. This design addresses the common issue with similar keypad control panels that rely solely on Wi-Fi—which can result in loss of connection during network outages—ensuring that alarm notifications are delivered regardless of the network conditions.

The control panel supports up to 52 wireless sensors (door contacts, PIRs, panic buttons, etc.), 6 remote controls and 6 RFID tags. The wireless protocol is 433MHz (ev1527), with a reception range of up to 100 metres in open areas. Note: This model is not compatible with fire safety accessories such as smoke or gas detectors; it is designed specifically for security intrusion detection scenarios. The product’s operating temperature range is -10°C to 50°C, making it suitable for most indoor environments.
OTA Updates: Continuous Optimisation and Feature Iterations
The CP4 control panel supports OTA firmware updates.
