Centered around a weatherproof outdoor alarm unit, the system connects to the Tuya Smart app via 2.4GHz WiFi and supports wireless accessories such as door contacts and PIR motion sensors, forming a complete security alarm system. The main unit features a built-in 5000mAh high-capacity battery with a standby life of up to 180 days and can be optionally equipped with a solar panel for continuous power supply, eliminating the need for external power cords. Equipped with a 120dB high-pitched siren and a strobe light, the main unit features a tamper-proof, IP-rated, waterproof design, making it suitable for outdoor settings or locations with limited access to power, such as villa gardens, construction sites, warehouses, farms, and garages.
Outdoor Waterproof Alarm Control Panel: Tamper-proof and Rainproof, Designed Specifically for Outdoor Environments
The SN30 control panel itself functions as an outdoor alarm. Its housing features a tamper-proof design and IP-rated water resistance, allowing it to be permanently installed in exposed outdoor environments—such as on exterior walls or utility poles—where it can withstand wind and rain. The unit features a built-in 120dB ultra-loud siren and a strobe light. When the system is armed and a sensor is triggered, the siren immediately emits a high-volume alarm and flashes a bright light, providing an instant deterrent to intruders.
Users can flexibly adjust the siren volume via the app among five levels—120dB, 100dB, 80dB, 60dB, and silent—to suit different scenarios: the highest volume can be set for open areas in the yard, while the volume can be appropriately lowered at night or around residential areas to avoid disturbing neighbors. Additionally, the main unit offers two alarm sound effects to accommodate personal preferences.
It is important to note that the accessories included in the kit—such as door magnetic sensors and PIR motion sensors—are not waterproof and are intended for indoor or dry environments only. When deploying the system, installers should place the control panel outdoors and install the accessories on indoor doors, windows, and in hallways to create a typical "outdoor alarm deterrence + indoor sensor detection" setup.
Wi-Fi Connection + App Control: A completely wireless solution that doesn't require 4G
The SN30 base station connects to the internet via a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, and users perform all operations—including arming, disarming, adding accessories, adjusting volume, and viewing alarm logs—through the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app. The base station itself features only minimal physical buttons (such as reset and pairing), with the vast majority of interactions handled through the app, reducing the complexity of on-site operations.
This solution does not rely on 4G cellular networks and is suitable for locations with good Wi-Fi coverage, such as villas, retail stores and offices. If the Wi-Fi connection is interrupted, the hub will be unable to send remote alerts (though the local alarm and strobe light will still activate normally). This model does not include a 4G backup communication module; please verify on-site network conditions before selecting this model.
Solar Power + High-Capacity Battery: Free Yourself from Cables
The SN30 unit features a built-in 3.7V / 5000mAh high-capacity lithium battery that provides approximately 180 days of battery life on a single full charge under typical standby conditions, significantly reducing maintenance costs associated with frequent charging or battery replacement. The main unit can also be equipped with an optional solar panel, which continuously recharges the unit under sunlight, enabling virtually unlimited runtime. The main unit supports a wide-voltage DC 6V–15V external power input, allowing installers to choose one of three power modes—solar, external power, or battery-only—based on actual conditions.
This design is particularly well-suited for outdoor settings where access to power is inconvenient—such as deep within a yard, along farm fences, or at temporary construction site facilities—as it eliminates the need for trenching, wiring, or searching for power outlets, allowing for installation in locations unrestricted by power availability.
